Playoffs (Weekend Edition)

This past Sunday had some excellent games as teams fought to keep their championship dreams alive in the Recreational Coed Quarter Finals. Sojourner Truth pulled off the underdog victory over last years Finalists Crescent City Awesome. The Uptowners were led by the dominant play of Noshir Pesika to hold off a surging Mongeese Squad. Loyola used quick passing and sharp shots to manuever by the always strong and competitive Hooligans. In a story from worst to first the Misfits who finished last season without a win won over last years champion the Thundercats to grant them their first placement in the Crescent City Recreation League Semi Finals!!

Good luck to all the teams next week as Sojourner Truth looks to be the upset the heavy favorites again when they match up against an impressive Uptowner squad. And Misfits will play Loyola to see who will reach the pinnacle of Recreational Coed Soccer in the city of New Orleans. Should be great matches for all to come and watch!

Beaucoup Gol Society pulls out a stunning victory

Beaucoup Gol Society led by Jimmer Ryan and Chris Britten came out on top in back and forth battle over Michael Durhams St.Charles United. Dylan Harrison scored multiple goals for St.Charles United but for every time this dynamic player found the back of the net, a society member was able to counter his offensive with a goal of their own. Beaucoup ended up having getting a last minute goal that secured their 8-7 victory.
