Monday Competitive II Championship

In a match that was largely on-sided, LHB beat Nola City in a 4-0 victory, with two goals in both halves.

The match started quickly, with both teams looking to break the deadlock early, with many good looks on goal from both sides. Eric Kugler and Trevor Craig looked dangerous early but neither was able to put a goal in. Then, in the 20th, LHB took the lead from a precise shot from outside the box. Nola City held strong to close out the half until the last minute before halftime, when LHB doubled  their lead from a cross that was tapped in by an LHB midfielder.

In the second have, Nola City came out strong, taking 6 shots, with two on goal. Colin Costello and Tommy Haney held create some chances, after holding possession more so than they did the first half. However, their early attack was short lived as LHB led by Carlos Ramos and John Hamid came back with pressure of their own, and were able to double their lead in 2 glorious minutes. In the 15 and 17 minute of the second half, they slotted two more goals past a frustrated Nola City goalkeeper who had done well to keep them out of the back of the net at that point.

Nola City could not amount an attack after the fourth goal, and conceded defeat to LHB for the competitive II championship.
